Spring Concert Announced
The Roanoke Valley Choral Society will present it's spring concert, Your Hit Parade, on Monday April 23, 2012
at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church, Roanoke, VA. This spring's performance will feature
pieces written and recorded in the 1940's. Selections include Sing Sing Sing, Moonlight Serenade, Boogie Woogie
Bugle Boy of Company B and In The Mood.

Mission Statement
The Roanoke Valley Choral Society presents quality performances of various choral literature to the highest possible standards, thereby enriching the
cultural life of the Greater Roanoke Valley community while providing local singers with an artistic, educational and musical experience.
The general nature, object, and purposes of the RVCS shall be to operate without profit. The RVCS is funded by revenues generated by sales of
advertisements, and the generosity of it patrons and free will donations, collected (or encouraged) at each performance.
The RVCS uses revenues generated for payment to its creative staff (conductor, accompanist and guest instrumentalists and soloists) advertising
for its own performances, printing expenses and rent for the rehearsal/concert venue. All other individuals associated with RVCS are volunteers, donating
their time and talents.
The board of directors, staff and membership of the RVCS welcome your comments and inquiries regarding membership. It also extends its sincere
appreciation for the continued support of the staff, Session and members of First Presbyterian Church, Roanoke, Virginia.
